Anxiety During College As Our New Era Continues

In pairing to today’s upload, how does one manage anxiety in our new world of technology overload? I personally call this ‘recession’ or historically sound — the new era. Put the phone down.

As a new influencer, I aim to go against the status quo of today. Talk about the now. Especially in the vlog format —and something to read afterwards too. Anxiety can be seen as a common symptom but all humans have it — something to work on. A lot of fellow college kids will drink off the pain, which I cannot blame, but it isn’t for everyone. Who is really to blame?

The biggest things for killing anxiety is to accomplish and create daily goals. Judgement of the self is philosophically true. A big part of my vlog that I emphasize is the part where I preached. Morning meditations are critical. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is a great example of a more philosophical approach to such but it doesn’t have to be that deep. It is a great book though. “You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” Meditating in the morning for 10–15 minutes is critical to get a great start to the day.

Whether you are becoming an engineer, writer, lawyer, doctor, etc… meditating is critical to squash anxieties. It parallels with balance or an irrational fear of the unknown… or what is to come that our third eye may not always see. Good energy or my favorite word is called serenity —the essence of personal peace. I don’t see enough influencers talk about meditating or sharing their vulnerabilities like I have on my first video today.

But we are all imperfect, right? We all struggle within our own ways and I am excited for graduating college. The college experience will be documented along the way — as it has not been talked about enough. Our current generation is already injured as it is. There is much more to be discussed on the horizon.
